    Nursery Pick Up

    Pick up your seedlings at the nursery located at 2823 Spurgin Road, Missoula. Customers will be notified via the nursery newsletter when seedlings are ready for pick up, and our website will be updated.

    This option is ideal if you are unsure of your planting schedule. Our seedlings are carefully stored in a climate-controlled environment, maintaining specific temperature and humidity conditions to ensure dormancy. Once seedlings are removed from storage, they need to be planted within a one week of being thawed.

    Spring 2026 pick up: April 14 - May 15, 2026

     

    County Drop-off Delivery

    The nursery will deliver seedlings beginning in April to conservation districts and MSU Extension offices across Montana for free.

    This option is ideal if you are able to plant your seedlings within one week of delivery after being removed from climate-controlled storage.

    Orders for county delivery must be placed by March 25 and paid in full before delivery. Unpaid orders will not be loaded.

    Reminder: Drop-off sites cannot accept payment.

    The nursery will email the delivery schedule in a newsletter and will add a link to this webpage. In addition, your local MSU Extension or conservation district office will contact you with pickup details. If your county has no partner office, the nursery will arrange an alternate drop-off. If order volume is too low, delivery may be rerouted to another site or canceled.

    Delivery dates and details will be shared in our April 1 newsletter and on the nursery website. Delivery dates may shift due to weather or hazardous conditions.
